Dr. Thompson has been involved in the mining and mineral exploration industry undertaking applied research in the Newfoundland and Labrador for the past 13 years.
Gary has 25 years of national and international research experience, has published in respected international journals and is a registered professional geoscientist. He works extensively with all sectors of the mineral industry in Newfoundland and Labrador including industry partners, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, Mines and Energy Branch, and Memorial University. And currently is leading a 3-year project with Anaconda Mining and Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation.
PROF. RASHMI ASHTT
Professor | Department of Architecture and Planning - An accomplished academic and professional in Architecture and Urban Planning with 21+ years of experience,
including 18+ years in teaching and 11 years in administration and management of architecture colleges. Currently serving as Head of Department and Professor at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women and successfully leading at the Director and Principal level.. Holds key positions, including Vice Chairman of the Indian Institute of Architects (A.I.I.A.), Member of IGBC, and IASTE (University of Berkeley, California).
DR. PRABHATH PATABENDI
Convener & Chair -SDGs2026
Dr. Patabendi is the Convener of SDG2026 in Canada and has more than 30 years of experience in community development projects having worked in many UN agencies with multinational teams.
Dr. Patabendi has written a book on “How to Prepare for Disasters” after his involvement with the tsunami victims and invited as a resource person for IPCC Indigenous knowledge platforms. He is a global leader in promoting academic knowledge and has organized more than 150 international academic/scientific/professional conferences to his credit in different time zones. Dr. Patabendi is the Chief Editor of two scholarly Journals and Co-Founder of Unique Conferences Canada and the International Center for Research & Development and Hon. Adviser to many Non-Government organizations/ projects in developing countries.
