DAY 11- October 29, 2026

The Niagara Region is a nationally significant ecological treasure that connects the Great Lakes, Niagara River, Niagara Escarpment, and diverse habitats rich in biodiversity. Its forests, wetlands, watersheds, and farmland provide essential services, including clean water, climate regulation, soil protection, and wildlife habitat. Safeguarding Niagara’s natural environment is crucial to Canada’s sustainability, climate resilience, and preservation of its natural heritage for future generations

This region is globally renowned for the spectacular natural wonder of Niagara Falls, which attracts millions of visitors each year.
